Woody’s Lodge is a unique 10-week program that is tailored specifically for veterans, blending horticultural skills with therapeutic support to manage anxiety, depression, and stress in the beautiful countryside of Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.

The initiative is a closed, veteran-only, entry-level gardening programme where individuals and small groups will be introduced to basic horticultural skills. The programme is facilitated by experienced gardeners and a horticultural therapist, ensuring a nurturing and supportive environment. No prior gardening experience is required, just a willingness to learn and grow within a like-minded community.
