Vaccination certificates for international travel are now available in Wales for those who have had two doses of the vaccine by calling 0300 303 5667. (Open seven days, between 9am and 5pm.) DO NOT contact your GP or health board.

Covid vaccination for household contacts of those who are immune compromised
If you are 16 or over and live with an adult with a severely weakened immune system, you will now be prioritised for a Covid vaccination. To qualify you must live with or share a household (close contact) with an adult who is severely immunosuppressed and be aged 16 to 39.

Unpaid carers who are NOT currently registered as a carer with their GP practice can now APPLY ONLINE for prioritisation for the Covid vaccination under group 6 – https://sbuhb.nhs.wales/go/unpaid-carers/
Those who are already on their GP practice carers’ register will be called automatically.
Concerned about clots?
We know the many news reports about a very rare condition involving blood clots and unusual bleeding after the first dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine are still causing concern. Only around four people develop this condition for every million doses of the vaccine given, but it’s understandable that many of us want to know more about the potential risks and benefits before we take up the offer.
